Service Oriented Device Architecture
Service Oriented Device Architecture (SODA) enables devices such as sensors and actuators to connect to a service oriented architecture (SOA). Currently, developers connect enterprise services to an enterprise service bus (ESB) using the various webservice standards that have evolved since then advent of Extensible Markup Language (XML) in 1998. With SODA, developers are able to connect devices to the ESB. With SODA, users can access device data in the exact same manner that they would access any other webservice.
Sensor Data Fusion
Sensor data fusion is the ability to create a single picture from multiple sensors. It involves multiple protocols and a highly advanced software architecture. Sensor fusion is the boundary between the digital realm and the physical realm. It will transform our lives, in agriculture, commerce, healthcare and war. Ricker Lyman Robotic is dedicated to providing tools and servers that solve the challenges of sensor fusion.
